The Santo António dos Capuchos Convent is a 17th century building of religious, mannerist, rococo and neoclassical architecture. From the original building only the primitive church, the sacristy and the cloister are conserved.

 

It is located on the Sacred Hill (Monte Sagrado), the highest part of the city, a few meters from Bragança Castle and Palace. It has worked as a hospital since the mid century. XIX until 1985.
