Lighthouse of Peñíscola

Built at the end of the 20th century. At the foot of Papa Luna’s Castle, 56m above sea level, the Peñíscola Lighthouse presents an 11m-high white octagonal tower, united to the building that houses the visitor’s reception centre and the tent-museum.

Its light currently has a reach of about 35 miles away.

The lighthouse is one of the most photographed points of the city of Peñíscola: from the entrance of the Castle it is possible to enjoy a wonderful view of the lighthouse with the beautiful blue of the Mediterranean Sea as background
